My very first tutorial! I use photoshop CS.

Enjoy! I'd love to see what people make out of it.

wow i definitely read that last line as "enjoy! I'd love to see people making out" but yea anyway, if I had that program, and if I knew how to duplicate I'd probably beable to do something slightly good lol

Good job though! :)

I'd love to try, but I can't seem to save any of the textures, it saves as one big piece will all of it. I guess I can cut that out, but I'm lazy.

It's a wonderful tutorial though, and a beautiful icon!

aw, sorry about that! If you want, I can cut the textures out and post them at the top. It's just easier to do it this way. =P

I did it! Still, ike other, I'm too lazy to cut out the images, so I just made similar ones myself and played around with extra layers. So I did my own thing, really, though definitely inspired by this tutorial, and here's what I got:

Iiiiiiiiiiiinteresting... Anyway, thanks! :)

love it. saved to memories. I screwed around with it a little bit and got this:

I like how it gave my icon a very raw, cold feeling.

Gorgeous icon. Awesome tutorial, too.
Also, I want to say that the desaturated texture is from gender. ^^

Memoried. Great! I love it (it's also similar to my icon, for which I've wanted to make something like. (not sure what I just said there, oh well.)
